The Artur Tuznik Sextet is an ensemble of individuals from the Scandinavian jazz scene - American tenor saxophonist Ned Ferm, based in Copenhagen for over 20 years and known for his collaborations with a plethora of outstanding artists from Roswell Rudd to Kurt Rosenwinkel. In the brass section, one of Europe's most outstanding trumpeters today, Tomasz Dabrowski, and Danish trombone veteran Mads Hyhne. The legendary Danish bassist Anders "AC" Christensen ("Dark Eyes" by Tomasz Stanko, Paul Motian's Electric Bebop Band or this year's ECM label recordings in a trio with Jakob Bro and Brian Blade) and the no less eminent drummer Jakob Høyer who, together with Christensen, formed Jakob Bro's trio for more than a decade and legendary bands such as The Raveonettes, also collaborating with giants such as Joe Lovano, Lee Konitz and George Garzone . Together they have made countless records and toured with names that have defined jazz on world stages in recent years.
